Terms of Service
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These terms govern the purchase and use of the JFPay software and services, provided by Capablanca Digital OÜ, registry code 16449972, Lootsa tn 2a, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia ("we", "us"). By purchasing a license or using our cloud service you accept these terms.
1. The product
JFPay is a self-hosted payment platform software. We sell licenses to operate it; we are not a party to the payments your installation processes, and you are solely responsible for the operation of your instance, your customers and your compliance with the laws that apply to your business, including licensing, AML/KYC and tax obligations in your jurisdictions.
2. Licenses
- Cloud: a monthly subscription to one managed instance operated by us under your brand. Cancel any time; access ends at the close of the paid period.
- On-premise: a one-time license for one production installation, with full source code and twelve months of updates. Additional installations require additional licenses.
- White-label: everything in on-premise, plus removal of JFPay branding and the right to resell installations to your own clients. Each resold installation must be reported to us and is covered by these terms.
3. JFPay Lightning network
Optionally, your installation may connect to our Bitcoin Lightning infrastructure. A service fee of 0.7% per settled Lightning payment is deducted automatically and recorded in a reconciliation ledger visible in your admin panel. Settlement of your accumulated balance is made to the wallet you designate. You may at any time switch to your own BTCPay Server, in which case no service fee applies.
4. What is not allowed
You may not use JFPay or our infrastructure for unlawful activity, fraud, or processing payments for goods and services that are illegal in your or your customers' jurisdictions. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software outside the rights of your license tier, remove license mechanisms, or use our Lightning network to process payments you know to be unlawful. We may suspend network services immediately in case of abuse.
5. Updates and support
On-premise and white-label licenses include twelve months of platform updates from the purchase date, renewable at a discount. Support covers installation and the unmodified platform; changes you make to the source code are your responsibility, though we can quote custom work.
6. Refunds
A full, unrestricted demo is available before purchase. Because on-premise licenses deliver the complete source code immediately, they are non-refundable once the package has been downloaded. Cloud subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and are not refunded pro-rata for the current period.
7. Warranty and liability
The software is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses arising from the operation of your payment business.
8. Intellectual property
The software remains our intellectual property. Your license grants usage rights as described above, including the right to modify your own installation's source code. The JFPay name and logo may not be used to market your services except as included in your license tier.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.
